Lone Star Street Dance Partnership

• Event Description: A lively evening of music, dancing, and Texas-sized fun. Perfect for seasoned two-steppers or anyone who loves great tunes and good vibes. Held quarterly.

Lone Star Flag Day – Fly Your Texas Flag

• Event Description: Celebrate Montgomery’s heritage as the Birthplace of the Texas Flag. Display the Texas flag to honor our history and unite as a community.

TX A&M Forest Tree Giveaway/Ask a Master Gardener

• Event Description: Learn about environmental awareness and sustainability with the Montgomery County Master Gardeners. Features tree giveaways, expert Q&A, and environmental education.
• Event Date: Saturday, March 8, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

• Event Description: A family-friendly outdoor movie event featuring classics and newly released favorites. Scheduled on various dates throughout the year.

​Antique & Unique Festival Partnership

• Event Description: A three-day celebration featuring antiques, vintage collectibles, and handmade items in Montgomery Historic District.
• Event Dates: Friday, May 2 – Sunday, May 4
• Location: Downtown Historic District

Freedom Festival – Conroe Lake Conroe Partnership

• Event Description: A family-friendly festival with a downtown parade, live music, food, and festive activities for all ages. Celebrate patriotism and community spirit.
• Event Date: Saturday, July 5, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Water Party

• Event Description: Celebrate summer with water activities like splash pads, slides, and family-friendly games.

​Faith & Blue – Montgomery Police Department

• Event Description: Strengthen relationships between faith-based organizations and law enforcement through this community-focused event.

Montgomery Quilt Walk Partnership

• Event Description: A scenic stroll through Montgomery showcasing quilt displays and local quilters’ demonstrations.
• Event Dates: Thursday, October 16 – Sunday, October 19, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Trick or Treat

• Event Description: A safe, family-friendly event for children to collect candy from local businesses.
• Event Date: Saturday, October 26, 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Shop with a Cop – Montgomery Police Department

• Event Description: A private charity event where local police help children purchase gifts for their families during the holidays.

Light Up the Park

• Event Description: Holiday tree lighting ceremony with music, contests (pole decoration, residential, commercial), and festive activities.
• Event Date: Friday, December 6, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Light Up Montgomery Contest

• Event Description: Promote Christmas spirit by encouraging residents and businesses to register and participate in holiday decoration contests.

Annual Christmas Parade

• Event Description: A festive parade with floats, marching bands, local organizations, and Santa Claus.

Snow Party

• Event Description: A winter-themed event with artificial snow, snowball fights, and holiday entertainment.
