Bell's Grove
Bell's Grove is a fantastic example of Texas Greek Revival architecture. As you can see in the photo, Bell's Grove is undergoing some cosmetic work - protecting the wooden siding of these older homes is a year round endeavor!
Bell's Grove was built by John E Shelton and sold to Judge Henry R. Bell in 1855. The name Bell's Grove came from the once wooded adjoining area, which was well known as the scene of political rallies and conventions.
