MarchMontgomery Mudbugs & Music Festival - This rockin' event is privately produced wows crowds with buckets of crawfish, amazing live Cajun & country music, food trucks, vendors, a kids' zone, and so much more! Click HERE for a link to the 2023 event, which will be held on March 25. |
MARCHGet ready to see some epic Texas patriotism! Every year the Spirt of Texas Bank challenges Montgomery to see who can fly the most Texas flags. You'd think that the city could easily win, but the bank puts up a serious fight. The winner is always the town and the people who come to see Montgomery looking so festive. This year the event is being held on March 2, 2023. |
MAY
The Montgomery Antiques Festival is one of the perennial favorites - there's always so much to see! Scores of dealers spread over downtown with a variety of antiques, collectibles, vintage, and repurposed. There's sure to be something for even the pickiest shopper. The 2023 event has been canceled, but we sure hope to see it again next year! |
JulyIt's ridiculously hot in July and the Montgomery Water Party is exactly what is needed to cool our kids off! Water slides, wading pools, and toys abound at this neighborhood-style event held at the Community Center. This year's event will be held on July 15.

OctoberCome visit Historic Montgomery Texas and stroll through our historic commercial and residential areas to see a large display of modern and traditional quilts. This two day event will feature a vendor's market, a quilt raffle, and quilts from makers all over the Houston area. Click HERE for more information on the event, which is being held on October 6-7 |
October Trick or Treat Historic Montgomery is an epic sight! Thousands of children dressed in their Halloween best traipse throughout downtown Montgomery for a few special hours! Almost every business is open and serving goblins, princesses, and dinosaurs special treats. Even if you're not in it for the candy, the sight is spectacular. decemberLight Up the Park takes place in one of Montgomery's favorite parks - Cedar Brake. This family event contains many of our cherished traditions such as the open mic holiday concert, photos with Santa, and the lighting of the park’s thousands of lights. Montgomery's residents and businesses decorate the lamp posts in a spirited competition that benefit all park users for the entire month! This year's event will take place on December 2. DECEMBERMontgomery's holiday activities are the highlight of the year and it all kicks off at 10am on December 9 with the parade, which winds through Historic Downtown Montgomery and showcases our astounding array of civic groups, school spirit, and other groups that love to participate every year. Bring your flags, boots, and holiday spirit to Montgomery to cheer for our parade, shop in the holiday market, and tour the historic homes that are open for this wonderful day of events.
