Visiting Montgomery's Past
Montgomery's early founding and lack of full-scale, devastating fires means that it is full of buildings from various periods of its history. Montgomery has two different methods of touring its historic treasures.
The city has a walking tour powered by the Distrx app that guides you through 15 locations and provides you with an oral description of the buildings on the tour.

Using a standard web browser that works with Google maps, Montgomery has been able to provide information on twice as many historical buildings. Pick the site that sounds the most interesting, click on the address to navigate to it and either walk or drive to the next site of interest! Make sure to click on the compass in the upper righthand corner of your device to activate the navigation capabilities.
