Alfred & Matilda Morris House
This small gem was built in 1854. It is located on College St, west of Eugenia St. It has been nicely restored by its current owner and is a private residence.
Alfred Morris was briefly sheriff of Montgomery County in 1869, although was supplanted after Abner Womack was elected in December. Both he and his wife are buried in the Old Cemetery.
